Fifty years ago this month Paul McCartney released his finest post-Beatles album. This was the one where he finally found his footing after the rocky breakup of the most important band of the 20th century in 1970. I love this record and it always brings back great memories! I remember first seeing it on display in the record section of the military BX where my mom would take my brothers and me shopping when I was 8 years old. The cover looked very exciting and cool! I remember hearing the title track on my sketchy transistor radio - it was like 3 songs combined into one.
Listening to it now it is still a joy.
